After you’re employed and actively at work with Assurant for 60 days, all benefits-eligible employees will be eligible for up to five weeks of Pregnancy leave, paid at 100% of your base pay, following the 7-day elimination period.
Effective January 1, 2026, employees who take leave following a cesarean birth will automatically receive up to seven weeks of paid STD benefits after the 7-day elimination period.
You may use your available PTO to receive pay during the 7-day elimination period. If you are eligible for FMLA, any Pregnancy Leave and STD Leave will be taken concurrently with FMLA leave.
