After you’re employed and actively at work with Assurant for 60 days, all benefits-eligible employees will be eligible for up to six weeks of Pregnancy leave, paid at 100% of your base pay, following the 7-day elimination period.
Employees who take leave following a cesarean birth will automatically receive up to eight weeks of paid STD benefits after the 7-day elimination period.
The seven-day elimination period applies to both leave scenarios and is typically covered by available PTO.If you are eligible for FMLA, any Pregnancy Leave and STD Leave will be taken concurrently with FMLA leave.
