For employees enrolled in the Blue, Green, or Orange medical plans, in-network benefit levels will be applied to eligible mental health, behavioral health, and teletherapy services received from out-of-network providers, helping ensure access to the care you need so you can focus on your wellbeing.
New for 2027, Headway through Anthem helps make finding mental health care easier. If you're enrolled in an Assurant medical plan, you can quickly connect with in-network providers and schedule virtual or in-person appointments.
As a reminder, when you receive covered services from an out-of-network provider, you may be responsible for paying any difference between the maximum allowed amount and the provider’s actual charges. This amount can be significant so it’s best to understand what charges will apply in advance.
